Most of Pdfly’s tools run entirely inside your browser, which means your files never leave your device.
For tools that require server-side processing, files are transferred over TLS and permanently deleted from our servers within one hour.
I do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone.
Pdfly is an independent project operated by a single developer (“the Owner”, “I”, “we”).

Files you upload: only used to perform the action you asked for. For in-browser tools, files never leave your device. For server-side tools, files are stored temporarily and deleted within one hour.
Contact form submissions: your name, email, subject and message are stored so I can reply to you.
Technical logs: anonymous request logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Cookies: Pdfly uses only strictly-necessary cookies (theme preference, session). No advertising or tracking cookies.
To operate the tool you selected and deliver the resulting file back to you.
To respond to messages you send through the contact form or via email.
To detect abuse, spam or malicious usage of the service.
Data is never used for advertising, profiling or resold to third parties.
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+.
Files processed server-side are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and permanently deleted within 60 minutes.
Contact messages are stored in a private MongoDB database accessible only to the Owner.
Backups do not retain any user-uploaded files.
Email delivery for the contact form uses a standard SMTP provider. Only the fields you type into the form are transmitted.
AI-powered tools (AI Summarizer, Translate PDF, Chat with PDF) send document text to an LLM provider strictly to generate the requested output. No account or file is stored on their side beyond the transient request.
No analytics vendor, ad network or third-party tracker is embedded on Pdfly.
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of any personal data you’ve shared (for example, a contact message) at any time by emailing samisial1555@gmail.com.
Deletion requests are honored within 7 days.
Pdfly is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me and I will delete it immediately.
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 14 days.
