Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2025

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using pdfly.app (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by an independent developer (“the Owner”, “I”, “we”). You can reach the Owner at samisial1555@gmail.com.

2. Description of the Service

Pdfly provides a collection of online tools to view, edit, convert and organise PDF documents. The Service is offered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

Tools may be added, changed or removed at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, process or share any file that: (a) violates any law; (b) infringes intellectual property rights; (c) contains malware or exploits; or (d) constitutes harassment, hate speech or CSAM.

You agree not to abuse the Service through automated scraping, denial-of-service attempts, or attempts to bypass usage limits.

The Owner reserves the right to block or throttle access if these terms are violated.

4. Your files & content

You retain full ownership of any file you upload. You grant Pdfly a temporary, non-exclusive licence to process your file solely to perform the action you request.

For most tools, processing happens entirely inside your browser — no file is transmitted to our servers.

For server-side tools, files are automatically and permanently deleted within one hour.

5. Accounts

The Service does not require an account for the core free tools. Optional Pro features may require an account in the future — those Terms will be presented at signup.

6. Fees & payments

All core tools are free to use. Optional paid features may be introduced. Any paid feature will be clearly marked and priced before purchase. Payments, if any, will be handled by a certified payment processor — the Owner never stores your card details.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Owner does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results that match your expectations.

Always keep a backup of any important document before processing.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you have paid to Pdfly in the 12 months preceding the claim (which for free users is $0).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any claim, demand or damage arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

The Owner may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, especially in case of abuse or violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Owner’s country of residence (Islamic Republic of Pakistan), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
